    • Abstract:
The very popular tableau vivant within the Victorian England is a case in point for the field of inter medial studies, as an example of the fusion between the arts and of the pleasure taken in cultural cross-referencing. Lady Hamilton and her plastic poses was one of the pioneers of the genre. The influence of the theatre, in particular London music hall which inspired so many works, provides a fine starting-point to analyse inter medial reference at work between painters and photographers. • Abstract:
