      The article reports that Limousin countryside, Oradour-sur-Glane, which was later painted by General Charles de Gaulle into France's collective memory as landed in Normandy. Topics include women and children were killed by the SS Panzer Division ‘Das Reich' in a massacre preserved as a memorial of France's selfless sacrifice; and Oradour had been untroubled by the occupying forces and the Vichy authorities with Jewish communities in Strasbourg and Metz, who were then prohibited from returning.
