SCHOOL HEALTH, THE JOINT RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENT AND TEACHER.

The article discusses joint responsibility of parent and teacher to ensure health and hygiene of school children. The author points out that the joint effort of parent and teacher can provide best possible health conditions during the school life of the child. When the child is in school, the teacher is responsible for the detection and exclusion from school children suffering from communicable diseases and the parent has the duty of keeping the ailing child at home.
