    • Abstract:
This article discusses innovation in management education, in particular, the use of a contemporary cinematic fantasy to teach recruitment and selection. Films can offer a visual portrayal of abstract theories and concepts taught in organizational behaviour and management courses. Themes presented in the fairy tale "Cinderella" and scenes in the animated film "Snow White" have been used to show how to overcome adversity and to teach organizational socialization. The film of Roald Dahl's fantasy "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," can be used to teach recruitment and selection. Although none of Wonka's recruitment and selection tactics could actually be used, they encourage student discussion and exploration and will help them to retain the lessons in their memory.
