The Catalan Question Revisited: On Lodares, a Dubious ‘Linguistic Community’ and Imaginary Threats To It.

The article presents the literary contributions of Juan R. Lodares' on the sociological analysis of the theory of cultural differentiation. His work describes the culture of the linguistic community called catalan in Catalonia, whose main language of communication was catalan. The article concludes that in the present situation there is a serious linguistic conflict with catalans against immigrants and catalan-speakers against spanish speakers.
