History of Economics for the Nonhistorian: A Collection of Papers.

The authors focus on the collection and preparation of papers presented in "History of Political Economy." According to the them, the inspiration for the chapters would come from the various subdisciplines of economics rather than from the history of economic thought. They viewed the overall results as disappointing for they discovered that most historians of economics are not able or willing to address current controversies in theory, applied economics and econometrics. They mentioned that most of the papers submitted looked like articles published regularly in history of economic journals.
