    • Abstract:
This article looks at the efforts being made by PepsiCo Inc. to repair their damaged reputation in India. Charges aimed at the company in 2003 accused Pepsi of allowing contaminated groundwater to get into locally made soda which cut their sales in India in half. India native and Pepsi chief executive officer Indra K. Nooyi was infuriated by the charges; however, they came from the well know activist Sunita Narain.
