      The article explores the author's view on transformative possibilities of liminal space in the musical experience. It notes that the author draws his phenomenography of musical experience basing on liminality of musical experience from difference-in-relationship impression of Martin Buber's "I-Thou Experience" and several other theorists. The implications of the use of liminal music space for cultural and personal transformation was examined including the loss of boundaries, the opportunity to try out new personas, and collective vulnerability. Moreover, the nature of transformation illumination was drawn from William Shakespeare's play "Midsummer Night's Dream."
