The article focuses on the kidnap incident of Baron Edouard-Jean Empain in Paris, France by Italian kidnapers. It states that Empain was the passenger in the Peugot 604 vehicle driven by chauffeur Jean Denis who was then pulled by the kidnapers. It mentions that Empain manages French corporations with 150 companies employing 130, 000 employees and with annual sales of 4.7 billion dollars. It says that it was clear that the kidnap of Emain was l'italienne with ransom of 20 million dollars and with a letter written by Emain with his identification card sent to his family as proof that Emain is truly held by the kidnappers. Moreover, his kidnap was not most important among the kidnapping of French businessmen and that it happened during the regular kidnappings anywhere especially in Italy.
