The article offers information on the political turmoil in Western Europe. It attributes the reason of continent wide agitation to "second industrial revolution" that has changed the face of the European society into an increasingly technological and depersonalized one. It highlights the demonstrations of the French students against the bureaucratic quality of university life. It also focuses on several countries including West Germany, France, Great Britain and Italy to indicate the way these governments are tackling the law and order situation.
