    • Abstract:
The article features Italian bicycle racer Fausto Coppi, who made a successful comeback on the tour in mid-June 1952 after several failures in previous tries. His successful comeback was seen at the Giro d'Italia, a 20-day race, wherein he posted a record breaking time in his victory. Coppi first won the Giro and the Tour de France in 1949. His 1950 season, however, was a disaster as he suffered several accidents.
