The article discusses job creation in the U.S. Figures indicate that most net new jobs come from firms five years of age or younger. In the author's view the key to creating more jobs is to encourage entrepreneurship. To that end he recommends greater encouragement of entrepreneurship among minorities, and more educational opportunities for entrepreneurs outside of college, particularly practical education.
