      The article discusses the process by which motion pictures are selected to be marketed to foreign countries. According to the author, an early and unsuccessful method used was the use of the United States as a test area for films to be exported. The author notes that the most successful method of selecting films for certain countries, is to analyze the success of certain types of movies in those countries. Also noted is the fact that action movies and musicals are the most successful types of motion pictures in foreign countries.
