    • Abstract:
This article identifies and rebuilds, within the attempts toward pro-continental union in Latin America, a set of practices and representations that make up a historical cycle that is called here "Latino Americanism from below." Fathered by figures initially linked to literary modernism, and intensified after the outbreak of the University Reform of 1918, this movement has been characterized by having emerged from figures that acted from outside (and sometimes against) the state elites. This cycle, which finds its apogee in the 1920s, comes into decline after 1930. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
    • Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
