    • Abstract:
The article presents the author's insights on the quality of mind of Anglo-Irish playwrights Samuel Beckett, William Butler Yeats and Bernard Shaw. The author says that the attempt to escape from naturalistic theater starts with Shaw in his plays. He states that Beckett has a kind of comic method of dealing with intellectual nature questions in relation to his work and Yeats took conventional characterization an obstruction to free expression.
