    • Abstract:
The following study aims to verify that the development of creativity, understood as cognitive competence, and systematic work in the classroom has an important significance not only in building the personality of the students, but also to achieve the two most important goals of any educational system: • Enable the development of the personality, which means addressing the cognitive, emotional, social. • Ensure that the school is not content to be merely social reproductive system, but in its role to transform reality. From two qualitative and quantitative methodologies, we want to see how the use of creative teaching methodologies will enable the development of skills, stimulation of creative thinking and creating school projects that extend their originality and effectiveness. Our society demands more and more, creative people, not just the arts but also in technical and scientific. Our position on creativity is expressed not only in art, science or technology, but we intend to cover all human expressions, from the way we love and relate to others, to how to know and discover the world. This is undoubtedly one of the prerequisites for a country to progress in all areas. The results obtained during the study allow us to conclude that teaching creativity is one of the key pillars of education in the XXI century. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
