    • Alternate Title:
O'Galop as an illustrator of children's books. (English)
    • Abstract:
O'Galop's illustrations for children, like those of many of his contemporaries, represent just one form of drawing among many related activities. This article attempts to show how O'Galop's experience of other formats (press drawings, animation) influences his publications for children, and perhaps conversely how his animation work might be influenced by his early illustrated albums. In this sense, his work marks an interesting development in the gradual emergence of the modern children's album, notably in the 1930s. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
    • Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
