    • Abstract:
The author provides insights into the issue of climate change, including how cooperation and engagement can change behavioral patterns, in the context of science and laboratory experiments. Early evidence of the role of social science in research about climate change include the edited volume "Social Science Research and Climate Change: An Interdisciplinary Appraisal" which was released in 1983. Climate-related decision making has been the subject of discussion in the field of Psychology. The methodologies offered insights into certain aspects of decision making. A cross-disciplinary tool for the evaluation of cooperation stemmed from public goods experiments.
