      The article reports on the success of the critical safety pressure tests conducted by San Francisco, California-based investor-owned electric utility Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in 2015 on segments of the gas pipeline that runs through Santa Cruz. The tests aimed at detecting and repairing damaged pipelines to ensure the safety of customers. The company used mobile compressed and liquefied natural gas to supply its Santa Cruz customers for the duration of the safety testing.
