      The article discusses various studies associated with public health. It is stated that increasing number of research reveal that Body Mass Index (BMI) and weight are not necessarily the main indicators of a person's health. It is noted that it is well established that obesity is a leading cause of cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes, but the problem is far more complicated than that and scientists are only just beginning to understand.
