      The article presents a discussion among a group of historians on the world history of walls, borders and boundaries. Topics covered include role of urban boundary-setting in the spread of race segregation and the establishment of class divisions in postcolonial world, walls, borders and boundaries as attempts to stop movement, conversion and change in line with research on the consolidation of borders between Spain and Portugal, and premodern Christian-Jewish relations.
