      The article reports that Hidenari Terasaki, a Japanese spy who admired the U.S. tried to prevent war and later had a hand in punishing those responsible for it. Posted to japan's Washington , DC, embassy in March 1941, Hidenari Terasaki possessed qualifications along with a potential liability. Fluent in English, he was well versed in American life and customs from studies at Brown University.
