      The article focuses on understanding the impact of secularism within the Liberal International Order (LIO). Topics include different interpretations of Western history can challenge the LIO's assumptions regarding secularism, LIO assumes that religion creates conflict and is particularly responsible for the promotion of violence, and modernity is stated to be synonymous with secularism.
