An introduction is presented which discusses the documentary film "Three Identical Strangers" about triplets illegally separated and adopted at birth as part of an unauthorized social experiment, as well as topics of articles within this issue including issues with turnover of social workers, college achievement among students with unstable childhood experiences, and psychological maltreatment within the child protection services of Quebec.
