    • Abstract:
It's been a decade since the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act went into effect, with the goal that insurers and health plans offer mental health and substance abuse benefits comparable to coverage of medical and surgical care. Research shows that more diverse teams can perform better than more homogeneous teams; team members can bring different perspectives to bear on the issues they have to deal with. Linked to this greater understanding, managers and workplace professionals can put in place systems to help people work together more effectively. Understanding how your team works leads to an understanding of other teams and ultimately of the dynamics of your entire organization. [Extracted from the article]
