      The article tells the story of the downfall of Rabbi Henry Schuhl of Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, Texas that stemmed from his dalliance with a Jewish prostitute named Flora Pratt. Information is provided about Schuhl's confession about his affair with Pratt and the adultery charge filed against him by the ecclesiastical tribunal, the split of the Temple Emanu-El congregation following Schuhl's acquittal, the forced resignation of Schuhl, and the larceny and libel suits filed against him.
