      In this article the author talks about the Detroit which is boomed alongside the automobile industry, and it had become the first major city in the world to start experimenting which would become the American development pattern. It mentions that the Detroit in the first half of the 20th century had achieved impressive growth, but it came at the expense of stability, and take a prosperous and stable city, spread it out at tremendous cost over.
