    • Abstract:
The article discusses three factors that are often ignored but play an important role in preventing a research-practice connection. They include the fact that evidence is not always foolproof as the evidence in question is often less definitive, the tendency of education research on broad trends, and the complexity of learning that something works and making it work successfully.
