    • Abstract:
The concept of value should be perceived from the customer's point of view in the expectation that a product or service meets or exceeds the requirements. For a business to meet a target customer's requirements, there is a need for a structured organization to manage resources. Key process indicators (KPIs) are essential in monitoring and measuring processes to ensure that they help meet customer expectations. To track processes, KPIs should be rolled up into one numerical score called a Lean index with a range that represents a composite score of performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
