    • Abstract:
My doubles partner, Kayla Cross, and I complement each other on the court; I set up balls from the baseline, and she puts them away at the net. BEING AN ALUMNUS OF CANADA'S National Tennis Centre comes with a huge payoff: in the 15 years since its inception, grads of the program have clinched five singles titles and reached nine finals at grand slam events. We even played doubles together at an International Tennis Federation tournament in Montreal last year. We do meditation and jour-nalling with a sports psychologist, and our coaches provide feedback about the technical and tactical flows of our games after tough matches. [Extracted from the article]
