    • Abstract:
With a DAC connected directly to the Melco's dedicated USB output, the N50 is, or can be used as, an audio server. If you need an App to control a Network Player (Streamer) connected to Melco this App is not suitable - please consider to use the Network Player own app, or mConnect Player HD app. Melco, the Japanese maker of the N50 Music Library featured in this review, is not a household name among US audiophiles. No matter what I did, it couldn't see the CH Precision DAC connected to the Melco's Ethernet "Player" port, or any other network-connected DAC, although it could, as Kal indicated, see every device on my home network with music storage.
