      The article presents a reprint of the summary of the forthcoming book "Arms Control and the Atlantic Alliance," by Karl W. Deutsch, which appeared in the 1967 Spring issue of "World of Wiley." Several evidences are presented for the determination on the attitudes of Europeans towards arms control which include elite interviews, mass opinion, and computer content analysis. The author points that arms control and disarmament are backed by substantial majorities of French and German leaders.
