      The article talks about the status of nursing and nurses in the U.S. For the fifth straight year, nursing school enrollment is up, according to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, from a 3.7 percent increase in 2001 to a 13 percent increase in 2005. However, more nurses are retiring from the field than entering it and there aren't enough faculty to teach all of those who want to get into the profession.
