    • Abstract:
The article reports that small law firms and sole practitioners in the U.S. are beginning to feel the ill effects of the economic slowdown in the country. According to sole practitioner Lisa Bluestein, clients know the costs and are more eager to negotiate rather than proceed with a lawsuit. To counteract the problems, legal practices are now diverting their strategies to attract clients such as family-law sole practitioner Alla Roytberg, who is already focusing on mediation.
