Society as the Subject of Redemption: The Relevance of the Social Gospel.

The article focuses on the relevance of Social Gospel. It is stated that the Social Gospel was essentially a North American version of the movements for Christian Socialism that arose in England, Germany and Switzerland. Social gospel was based on the doctrine of social salvation, which was based on the sociological idea of social structure that gave rise to the idea of social justice.
