      The article profiles the anti-racist leader Dennis Brutus in South Africa. Brutus observed that apartheid system wasted black talents because they could not compete against the whites. In 1959, his fellow teachers and him decided to create the South African Sports Association (SAPA) to join with all-white sports clubs but the whites would not allow them due to the apartheid system. In 2007, he was invited to be inducted into the South African Sports Hall of Fame but he refused.
