      The article describes the efforts of the East Bay Regional Park District in California to educate children about science and nature. The park district has launched Junior Rangers, a program to educate children through several activities such as outings and camping trips. Some of the parks offering the Junior Rangers program are the Tilden Nature Area, Sunol Regional Wilderness, and the Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve.
