      The article reports that Oscar winning actor Christian Bale will star in the chine motion picture "Flower of War," to be directed by Zhang Yimou. According to Zhang, the motion picture is expected to make China that much closer to the world on a global scale and is already China's official selection for the Oscar for best foreign language film. It is noted that a crowded screening was hosted by the film's executive producers at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2011.
