  A literary criticism of the novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker is presented. Particular focus is given to the themes of trauma, ethics, and memory. The author's assertion that these themes foreshadow the preoccupations of the 20th-century field of trauma studies is examined, and the concepts of otherness and evil are also explored.
