      The article focuses on parenting for culturally blind children. It explores the behaviors of children when they encounter people of different skin colors and physical characteristics from theirs. It contends that over time, children are able to make friends based on interests and values rather than race if parents teach values such as respect for others and empathy. It discusses various ways that parents can respond to comments of prejudices or biases of children.
