      The article presents the author's view regarding the changing global landscape and its implications for the witness of the church. It notes the decline of Christianity in the North and the shift of Christianity to the global South, which the author claimed is the most decisive change since the Edinburgh 1910 World Missionary Conference in Scotland. Three movements which describe the Christianities of the South are cited which are the interreligious, the liberation, and the Pentecostal movement.
