      The article examines the condition of the motion picture industry in Asia an in the Middle East. It explores the increasing global consciousness and expanding regional connections of the cinema market in Asia with the growth of the cinema market in China. It also cites the changes in the Islamic cinema in Iran where filmmakers become an embarrassment to the government and aesthetic exiles and the interesting films in Japan such as "Alamar" and "Inori."
