The section presents the schedule of the program of the 1994 American Public Health Association Meeting to be held in Washington, D.C. from October 29 to November 2. The program follows a definite format: day order, by time slot and alphabetical by first sponsor. The subjects of sessions include: drug use in the city; prevention research at the U.S. National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism; tobacco control in local, state, national and international levels; and strategies for improving health in the African American community.
