      The article presents information on a conversation of the author with bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger and his mentor and surrogate father Joe Weider about the differences between bodybuilding of his era and today. Schwarzenegger said during the 70s bodybuilder would normally be smaller during the year and then grow into the show. Schwarzenegger said that it is not healthy to carry around weight all the time like most bodybuilders do now a days.
