- Abstract: An interview with Geffen Playhouse artistic director Matt Shakman about his plans for his first season at the theater is presented. Topics discussed include how his previous experience of running the Black Dahlia Theatre in Los Angeles (LA), California prepared him for taking charge of Geffen, his thoughts on where Geffen fits into the LA theater scene, and their theatrical productions that will premiere worldwide in 2018 such as "Mysterious Circumstances" by Michael Mitnick.
