In the book "Blood Pressure," author Alan Gibbons tackles themes of young adult life. The location, is well-described and the teenage language well echoed. "The Wish House," by Celia Rees, looks back on a sun-drenched summer of the 1970s. Protagonist, Richard spends his holiday as usual in a caravan in Wales with his parents. But this year an artistic family with a bohemian lifestyle occupies the old house he used to explore.
