      The article presents information on the audiobooks. The author shows his concern on excess number of audiobooks in the market. There is also the problem of same name for several audiobooks. However, the good news is that publishers are being more sensible about their lists and are challenging existing and new titles with some fervour. Everyone wants to see CD grow as a format, poised, as it is to dominate the audiobook market in the next couple of years, but for that to happen it needs physical room to expand. CDs can only take the next step if they have somewhere to step to and they will struggle while they are competing for space with 13 cassette versions of a classic Jane Austen title.
