    • Abstract:
The article focuses on the character of A. Herbert Bledsoe, a manipulative and hypocritical black-college president, portrayed in the novel "Invisible Man," by Ralph Ellison. Accordingly, the character of Bledsoe portrays the real-life example of Robert R. Moton, the president of Tuskegee Institute in 1915-1935. According to the author, the portrayals of Ellison as well as with J. Saunders Redding regarding the matter demonstrates great similarities with regards to substance and language.
