    • Abstract:
The article considers the views of children on reading. According to Kate Wilson, group managing director of Scholastic, children believe that readers are clever and successful, but also that they are geeky, boring and lonely. Wilson also revealed where books sit among children's reading preferences. Wilson said that children in England have more books of their own at home than children in any other country.
