      The article focuses on the relationship between murders and parlor games. The author discusses several books on this subject. Parlor games are stated to be games played for fun and leisure which contain their own outcome. The character Reeves Minot in the novel "Ripley's Game," by Patricia Highsmith has been portrayed as a game strategist to a perfect murder. The novel "Never Let Me Go," by Kazuo Ishiguro is also discussed as a modern murder mystery of sorts.
